A bit more about me

So my partner and I are planning to get commited. Its not legal for us to be a happily wed couple in the Great ole' U.S of A so we are going to Canada!! We are headed there for the ceremony then back to Michigan where we will have our reception. Now I have never planned a wedding. But I am here to tell you that this is the only one I am doing. I am stressin!! The big part for us is we have to use a coordinator in Canada to help us with the paperwork and to help find a place for the ceremony. You ever shopped online for a location for the biggest day of your life? Let me tell you it isn't easy. So I think we are going to have to buckle down and take a trip there SOOOOON to pick an exact location. We have to get the invites out in about, well like a week or so would be good. How do you send an invite when you don't have a location to the ceremony? Uhm yeah that doesn't work well does it?

Yup. I think its kind of funny how non conventional we are. We met online. Were engaged in a week and a half and we are both girls!!! We have an ever growing house of animals. We are up to 3 dogs, a momma cat and her 2 kittens, a fish and a snail. Yup that's us. One big happy family.

I would also like to take a minute to say thanks to my cousin Brandee ( who also has a blog) who got me set up on this blog. But this is also a cry for help. Seems she has forgotten that I am computer illiterate and I cant do all the things on my blog like she has done on hers. So Brandee Erica you better start showin me!!!

I am a blogger now!!!!!

Well. Where to begin. I am the one on the right. The taller of the two. I am Grace hear me roar. What to tell? Hmm. Life is always interesting isnt it? Do you ever know what will be thrown your way? Slung at you at such a force that it nearly bowls you over. Yet there are times when things are handed to you and they have nealry the same impact as if they were slung from a cannon. Things that have been slung at me...........parents divorce, family illness. Things that have been handed to me........my bestest girl Jen (the shorter one), my fat little dog. The list goes on. But yet each one has a huge impact on me. Each has altered me in such ways that I dont always realize. But they all lead up to my upcoming biggest thing in my life. Jen and I are getting officially for real married in Windsor in less then 2 months. Yup not legal here. But over there it is official. We will be legally wed. Commited here I guess. Oh my christ. The madness is beginning. The final rush to the big day. I never knew that you had to consider so much. Sheesh. More will follow on this adventure of mine. I am too excited to play with setting up my blog to really focus on writing things.
